Spider Silhouette Design
When the Spider silhouette design appears on apparel and certain other goods, it must appear immediately adjacent to the words "University of Richmond," "Richmond Spiders," "UR," or "Richmond." The affected goods are:
- Outerwear and active sportswear clothing (including jackets, t-shirts, shirts, and sweatshirts)
- Footgear
- Headgear
- Eyewear
- Gloves
- Bags, including book bags, backpacks, sports bags, and carry bags
- Ski, snowboard, or cycling equipment and accessories
The Spider Silhouette Design may appear by itself on official University of Richmond uniforms worn by athletic teams and coaching staff during Richmond sporting events and on official Richmond uniforms worn by Richmond personnel during working hours.
The tilted spider silhouette may be used by itself on printed materials such as notebooks, binders, paper products, glass products, and numerous other items. Please contact University Communications with any questions.
